Funding fresh air for Small Steps
Thanks to generous prize donors over the last two years, WITH Tas has raised funds to support the Small Steps live-in parenting program run by the Hobart City Mission for young mums and their babies from across Tasmania.
Small Steps gives these young women life-changing support on many levels to help them through often deeply challenging and complicated circumstances. Our aim is to offer practical support so they can focus on their children and new goals in life.
In the past we've purchased specific items – hardy washing machines and commercial dryers. All much appreciated by the young mums, helping make one aspect of their daily lives less onerous.
Bugs out, air and toddlers in!
The twelve live-in units at Small Steps don't have screen doors so we want to get the fresh air in, keep the toddlers in and the bugs out! We aim to purchase twelve screen doors for the remainder of summer - can you help?

1st PRIZE: Seaplane flight for two over Port Davey
Take to the skies in Tasmania's newest seaplane for a one hour return scenic wilderness flight to a remote harbour in Southwest Tasmania, part of Tasmania's Wilderness World-Heritage Area.
You'll have a bird's-eye view of the jagged mountain ranges and rugged coastline of the vast Southwest National Park, then land on the tannin dyed waters of Bathurst Harbour before returning to Hobart.
Weather allowing, the flight will track overland past mighty Federation Peak and then take the coastal route via Southwest Cape and Bruny Island.
The flight is operated in partnership with On Board Expeditions and Above & Beyond Tasmanian Seaplanes.

3rd PRIZE: $125 Voucher for Truffle Hunt
Discover the earthy magic of these rare funghi where Australia's first black truffle was harvested, The Truffle Farm Tasmania near Deloraine in the state's north. Join the truffle dogs on a hunt for black truffles and you might even uneath one of these hidden treasures with your own hands! A simple tasting follows the tour.
